Infant Room

 Age: 3 weeks - 12 months
Children in the infant reach important milestones through play and exploration.  The children learn social/life skills for their age group as they start their relationship with Jesus through songs and finger plays. 

 Age: 12 - 24 months
Children in the Ones and Twos room learn through play and exploration.  They have large group listening activities and small group art activities.  They continue to grow in their faith with Bible stories and songs.  They also continue to work on social/life skills and learn to use the toilet. 

 Age: Three to Five years
The St. Michael’s ECC Board is excited to announce our new PreK Readiness Program/Classroom. This Program will replace our former PreK Child Care and PreK 3’s Programs by merging them together for the benefit of all of the children. 
While many programs focus on the basics of letter and number recognition, PreK readiness encompasses more than a few isolated skills. We will be looking at the whole child and all the skills and strengths each child has developed. That’s what makes our new program unique. As an example, One child may love books and have exceptional puzzle abilities, but they struggle with shyness that prevents them from engaging with other children. Another child might be very strong socially but still has difficulty holding and using school supplies correctly. Others can do both these things, but can be very silly and wiggly and get distracted in group settings. Despite these differences, our PreK readiness program will help all of these children be ready for school.
This Program will take place Monday through Friday each week from 6am-6pm to allow for flexibility in scheduling for families, as well as to fully immerse all of our 3-5 year olds in play based learning to prepare them for PreK and beyond. The daily schedule will introduce a letter of the week, centers, crafts, Jesus time, and other supplemental activities.
Rest assured that your child will learn something everyday. Some days they will bring it home in their hands, other days they will bring it home in their heads, but everyday they will bring it home in their hearts. 

 Age: Four to Five years
PreK 4s Program

• This kindergarten readiness class offers the opportunity for your child to grow socially and emotionally as well as reach their developmental milestones. The program is rich in learning and discovery with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is faith-based. A Concordia Publishing House preschool religion resource is used as a foundation for this program’s curriculum plus other resources are used to supplement the curriculum.

  (M/T/W/F 8:15 am-2:30pm) - 4 Day Option
  (M/T/W/R/F 8:15 am-2:30 pm) - 5 Day Option 

​Age: K- 8 Before and After School
Summer Program

• Children attending the school age program are provided time to play and complete school assignments. They play indoors and outside (permitted to weather). Craft projects are offered as well.
