 Winterfest Date is 2/21/26.. Theme is "The Price is Right"  

 Reading and reading comprehension are foundational skills children need to be successful in school.  We want children to enjoy reading and be successful with it. To make it fun we will be doing a variety of activities and incentives throughout the year.
 One year long incentive we do is the 150% Club. Students read and take accelerated reader quizzes to earn points. If students reach the designated point level, at the end of each marking period, they are part of the 150% Club for that marking period. At the end of the year students will receive a prize for earning their points.  When a student makes it into the 150% Club all four quarters they will get to partake in a special activity. (In the past they have gone to lunch with the  principal.)
The deadline for 150% Club is the last day of each quarter.  There are NO extensions.  Please plan ahead!  
1st Quarter ends on 10/31/25, 

2nd Quarter ends on 1/23/26, 

3rd Quarter ends on 3/27/26, 

4th Quarter ends on 5/29/26.

May 11, 2026 is the last day to check out books.  

 All books must be returned by May 29,2026. 

Last day to take A.R quizzes for end of year 150% club is 5/22/26. 

First Grade:
1st Quarter: 1.5 Points
​2nd Quarter: 3.0 Pints
3rd Quarter: 4.5 Points
​4th Quarter: 6.0 Points
Second Grade:
1st Quarter:  9 Points
2nd Quarter: 10 Points
